Every so often when I want to escape back to the great outdoors, I go camping with family and/or friends.

Popular destinations are, the Bay of Fires on the north east of Tasmania, Chain of lagoons and Douglas River (also on the east coast) and Bruny Island.

The east coast is always a popular choice, as its generally a few degrees warmer in temperature than other places around the state, and there are many fantastic beaches all along the coastline.
