Bay of Fires Camping:-

December 2007:

As with our previous trips to the Bay of Fires, we headed up after university exams ended in Decmber 2007.

Camping in December (rather than our previous, late November visits) meant that the weather was great - but it as a busier place, and there were less 'good' spots free to camp. Never the less, we found a place made camp and had fun.

I had the ute for this trip, which made transporting all the gear up a breeze. It also doubled up as a table, workbench and storage area. The only downside was the extra hour or so it took driving up!

Tom also brought his Kayak for some extra entertainment.

The Kayak was extra awesome on the Little Blue Lake, which we visited for the first time.
